NEWS | Usher's New Album 'Raymond vs. Raymond' Gets An Official Release Date

R&B singer Usher upcoming sixth studio album Raymond vs. Raymond has gone down some rough roads as it was initially to be released back on December 21st, 2009. Then in November it was delayed because the label believed that the album was too strong and wanted to give it the opportunity to have the proper promotion and setup. Now after months of delay a final release date has been given of March 23rd, 2010 that will feature production by The Runners, Ne-Yo, The Neptunes, Tricky Stewart just to name a few. In the recent months a far bit of track have leaked on the net and they have been addressed in a recent interview with project contributor Jermaine Dupri. “I doubt you’ll get new records,” he told MTV News. “You’re gonna get what’s basically there, but it’s a solid record. His album is a solid record. People gonna love it.” The album's buzz single Papers only managed to peak at 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, although did see some success on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart reaching the top spot. The official first single Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home) that this week re-entered the Hot 100 chart at 100 and the music video that will debut tomorrow on MTV. Enjoy!
