British electro duo Hurts have come fourth on the BBC's sound of 2010 list, which features the most promising bands and singers for the next 12 months. The duo Hurts consists of singer Theo and synthesiser Adam that were in bands called Bureau and Daggers, the latter of which supported Gary Numan. They recently gave us the compelling and convincing Wonderful Life and now here is yet another new track from the Manchester duo titled Blood, Tears & Gold. It is still uncertain whether the song will serve as a single, but it is has single potential written all over it. It is an absoulety amazing song, as it is a beautiful sweeping synth sigh, a dapper melancholic electro ballad. One can tell that the production is top notch from the booming drums, the strings and pads to the arresting melody. I personally never heard of this duo previous to today but after listening to this am personally can't wait to hear more. You can download both Blood, Tears & Gold plus Wonderful Life above.
