
Four years ago neo-soul singer
Corinne Bailey Rae had a huge hit in the U.S with
Put Your Records On and now she's back with her sophomore effort. The new album titled
The Sea the first release since her musician husband Jason died in accidental accident in which you may expect the new tracks to be sad, but instead they are the opposite and are deeper the ones on her debut album. Rae wrote all the songs and reunited with same producer that helped her with her highly successful debut album. The opening track titled
Are You Here, includes a tribute to Jason Rae:
"He's a real live wire, he's the best of his kind; he'll kiss you and make you feel 16." It makes for a solid opening track. Be sure to pick up your copy on when it hits stores on January 26th, 2010. Enjoy!
