Pepsi Max is releasing an African inspired record called Oh Africa recorded by artists Akon featuring Keri Hilson. The song is set to be launched later this year and accompanying music video is set for international release and download on January 31st, 2010. The charity single will go towards helping underprivileged African youth. Akon's Konfidence Foundation will be of the main charities set to recieve a portion of the proceeds. The song will also premiere during this Sunday's Grammy Awards Pre-telecast stream on Grammy Live, an online destination featuring 72 hours live coverage during Grammy weekend. Ahmed Abdel-Karim, UK marketing manager for Pepsi, says: “We’re really excited about the new track and music video from multi-platinum selling Artist Akon and Grammy-nominee Keri Hilson and hope it raises money for less fortunate children in Africa.” I will only have this posted for download until January 31st and then will be removed as please go buy the song and support a good cause.
